Humbly tendered, this isn’t just music.
It’s worship
- forged in Scripture,
- tested in sorrow and pain,
- offered in surrender,
- born of the best of the Lord that is within me,
- affirmed in growth and joy and
- confirmed in you.

01 Lord Of My Soul
One of my most recent works. Very Dylan-esque vocal on traditional blues. Very Springsteen-esque lyrics.
The essence of “worship” though… “Remind me you are with me and teach me how to live, Lord. You’re in control” is the message/prayer/petition.
Lord of my soul, let your love give us strength and your faith give us faith. This video serves as a powerful source of christian motivation, offering a prayer when feeling weak and reminding us to ask God give me strength. It’s a journey for divine connection and spiritual journey, guiding us to remember that with prayer, all things are possible.
Maybe the greatest prayer that there is…”thank you, Lord” – gratitude and succinctly on-point. Power in simplicity such as “Jesus wept”.
Originally recorded with Gene Sibley in Dover, NH around 2014. Resurrected with Moises app.
Thanks to Matthew 11:28 where Jesus invites one and all “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest
Recorded around 2013 on Garage Band with Alex Krauth adding her amazing vocal talents which I trimmed down here for the overall flow
of the project.
Beyond
Abraham, several pivotal figures in the Bible responded to a divine call with the phrase “Here I am,” signaling their total availability.
Jacob used this expression when addressed by an angel in a dream (
Genesis 31:11) and again when God spoke to him in a vision before his journey to Egypt (
Genesis 46:2).
Moses famously answered “Here I am” from the site of the burning bush (
Exodus 3:4), while the young
Samuel repeated the phrase multiple times while learning to recognize the Lord’s voice in the temple (
1 Samuel 3:4-8). In a moment of prophetic commission,
Isaiah declared, “Here am I. Send me!” (
Isaiah 6:8), and in the New Testament,
Ananias responded “Here I am, Lord” when called to heal Saul of Tarsus (
Acts 9:10). Remarkably, according to the
theological insights on Hineni, God Himself uses this same phrasing in
Isaiah 58:9 to promise His immediate presence to those who call upon Him.
05 With Every Step And Every Breath
One of my favorite lyrics of my own here “Someday we’ll be in heaven, but we ain’t got there yet” so of course, stay centered in Jesus ALWAYS.
Bridges power pop, country and other genres with a super simple progression. Delivers the message as clearly as anything I’ve got. Moises
gave it some ooomph. As Peter said to Jesus, “where else could I go?” (the 5 Blind Boys of Alabama said it also, and even Elvis)
One of my very best lyrics. I thought it was beyond me to channel the stylings of Johnny Cash. Very surprised to hear what came out of my mouth on this one.
Another of my favorite lyrics. “tough times never last/only faithful people do/that’s why I am stickin to my Jesus/like we’re connected with super glue/i call his name
and I am saved/he has never once refused/thats why this ol’ guitar man/ain’t singin the lonesome blues” Verses are spoken “Talkin’ Blues” style. Nice country
groove. Originally recorded on Garageband. This lyric should be in there…”he will be there so we can rest a bit/he will be there to help us out of it”
From around 2023 around the time when Jesus and I finally connected. I lied. I wasn’t reading the Bible as much as I say here. Still not. I wish I was.
This one I actually got some help from AI on the lyrics. The music is mine and most of the punchier lyrics are mine, too. Full title is “Beautiful Prayer Of Selfless Love”
I love playing this one at the open mics and looking at how many people are feeling somewhat convicted or perhaps just irritated. I love the effects I was able to
generate with Moises.
I knew a really good musician who couldn’t track with my progression on this. Not bragging. It’s very unorthodox but it is driven with the tempo and direct guitar strumming.
Jesus is always there to help us and often does so without our asking but go ahead and ask!
